I have witnessed several
indiscriminate urination and defecation around Ikeja Lagos but this particular
one provoked me to complain.
Two matured men urinating
where sets of
“Yago bottle water” were
packed is very cruel and uncivil. These bottle water are might for public
consumption.
Men’s nonchalant manner of
urinating almost at any corner in Lagos is very alarming. Just take a look
around your surround you’ll find a man loosing his belt to urinate. Gutters in
every area of Nigeria have turned to public toilet for men obeying the call of
nature. Can’t our government do something about this cave behavior?
A week ago around 12 noon, I
was driving to Trade fair via Mile 2, stuck in traffic jam I saw a Danfo driver
urinating at the back of his bus right on the main road. A minute later, the
bus conductor came down and joined him. As their urine was flowing, they
buckled their belt, exchanged glance and joined the bus. Yes, nothing happen
and nothing we ever happen. This is Naija!
Folks, this is about
Nigeria’s image. Lagos is an international city; with so many foreigners doing
business here we should behave. I have been to 32 countries, but not even in Kathmandu
Nepal would one urinate carelessly without been fined. How can we stop
indiscriminate urination in Ikeja?
